Midnight in a Empty House

By me – Nikko

Huts, homes, apartments, or dens.

Waiting for where my joy begins.

Happy stories don’t start this way.

Midnight stuck with nothing to say.

Emptiness, with no one near

On my cheek I feel a tear.

What is to come what has to be?

For something new to happen to me.

Idol strokes on fathers clock.

Where’d  he go, damn I forgot?

No ones here I’m going to scream.

Will someone wake me from this dream?

My morning comes common ways.

I see the light from morning’s day.

Eyes grow dim with sleepless night

My body responds without a fight.

Standing tall, got on my feet.

Wakening from my sleep so deep.

Midnights are lonely without your friends.

Good thing those midnight now have ends.

This is for anyone who knows the feeling of having nothing at all… and finally after a long night finding something good. Nights can seem forever. Sometimes it is simply just a night. However it is sad to have those days. Every night has its day though. Don’t loose hope.
